Private lessons and group classes are offered for basic obedience, puppy foundations, and AKC Canine Good Citizen prep. All programs emphasize communication, behavior modification, and real-world proofing in public and outdoor environments.

Adventure Canine Training is a dog training business based in Middle Tennessee that helps dog owners build stronger, more communicative relationships with their dogs through personalized training focused on intelligence, confidence, and mutual understanding. Their approach blends genetics awareness, motivation-based training, and obedience work to create reliable, well-behaved dogs ready for real-world adventures like hiking, walking in town, or playing in the yard.

They emphasize two-way communication, reading dog body language, and using play and bond-building as primary rewards, while also incorporating humane corrections when needed. Their signature Board and Train program offers intensive, 4–6 week residential training with daily video updates, followed by at-home reinforcement sessions.

They also offer group classes, private sessions, and professional pet boarding with individualized care for dogs of all temperaments and needs, including those with special requirements like arthritis or social sensitivities.

Their trainers, led by founder Brooke O’Brien, prioritize hands-on experience and continuous education over generic certifications, and they are active in AKC sports, therapy dog work, and behavior modification. They use a balanced method that includes play, movement, and tools like prong collars and e-collars—applied humanely and only after proper conditioning—to achieve reliable, long-lasting results. They serve clients across Middle Tennessee and are known for their commitment to lifelong partnership with dog owners.
