Dog Training Methodology
Methods:
- ✓ Positive Reinforcement Only
Equipment:
- ✓ Clickers
- ✓ Food Rewards
One-on-one training sessions, customized to your dog. Focus areas include basic commands – sit, stay, down, and wait – along with loose-leash walking, plus special requests within reason.
Methods are positive reinforcement only. The team learns what each dog responds to best, whether treats, toys, or praise, and builds the reinforcement around it. Hand signals can be personalized, and clicker training is available.
Each training day is broken into three 15-minute sessions, preceded by play in day camp so your dog burns off energy before working. You get a daily report card on what was covered and how your dog did.
Training can be added to a boarding stay, booked as a multi-day board-and-train package, or taken as a private lesson.
Pricing & Policies

Policies
All pets need current vaccinations on file before their stay – dogs: rabies, distemper, bordetella, and canine influenza; cats: rabies and FVRCP. Vaccines must be given at least 48 hours before arrival, and records must come from a licensed veterinarian. Handwritten records and owner-administered vaccines are not accepted.
Dogs over six months old must be spayed or neutered to join group daycare. Pets with serious medical conditions need manager approval before booking. Medications should arrive in their original labeled containers, with an extra day or two included in case of a delayed pickup.
Tours are welcome during open hours with no appointment needed – just leave your pet at home so the visit stays calm for the guests already there.
About the Trainer
All Tails ‘R’ Waggin’ is a full-service pet resort on Worthington Road in rural Pataskala, Ohio, serving Columbus and the surrounding communities. Alongside boarding, daycare, and grooming, the team runs a one-on-one dog training program built on positive reinforcement.
Training is personalized to the behaviors your dog actually needs. Sessions cover basic commands – sit, stay, down, wait – plus loose-leash walking, and can be shaped around a specific request. The team figures out what motivates each dog, whether that is treats, toys, or praise, and uses that as the reward. Hand signals can be customized, and clicker training is an option for dogs who respond well to it.
The schedule is built around how dogs actually learn. Because most adult dogs can hold focus for only 10 to 15 minutes, each training day is split into three short sessions, with time in day camp beforehand to run off energy so your dog arrives ready to work. Every training day ends with a report card covering what was worked on and how your dog did.
Training happens inside a facility designed for comfort: climate-controlled suites with raised beds, large outdoor play yards with dog-safe equipment and pools, individual runs for dogs who prefer their own space, and an indoor arena for bad-weather days. Training can be added to a boarding stay, booked as a multi-day board-and-train package, or taken as private lessons.
