Alpha Obedience Dog Training

Puppy Head Start Training Program – early socialization, crate training, house manners and foundation commands such as sit, place and recall. Available as a board and train with owner transfer sessions, or as a complete in-home program.

Board and Train (7 months and up) – your dog lives and trains with the trainer in a structured environment, covering obedience, manners, leash skills and behavior stability, followed by owner education sessions so the results hold at home.

Behavior Modification – tailored work on anxiety, reactivity, fear, aggression and resource guarding, built around root causes rather than symptoms.

Private In-Home Classes – hands-on owner coaching where the behaviors actually happen, in your home and neighborhood.

Group Classes – structured, distraction-rich practice alongside other dogs once the basics are solid.

Virtual Classes – online coaching for foundational obedience and common household issues, available anywhere. For severe aggression or reactivity, Alpha Obedience recommends starting with an in-person program instead.

Pricing Summary

The first phone call is free, takes about fifteen minutes, and carries no obligation on either side. The in-person evaluation runs about ninety minutes, costs $85, and that fee comes off whatever program you book.

Starting prices are published on the website. Board and train starts at $2,200 for two weeks, $3,800 for four and $5,200 for six.

Behavior and aggression work starts at $4,500. Private in-home classes start at $950, off-leash programs at $1,200, Puppy Head Start at $2,000, group classes at $200 and virtual coaching at $125 for a single session.

Every program at $3,000 and over includes a remote collar, fitted and conditioned at the dog’s pace.

Most programs are half up front and half at completion. Payment plans are available through Afterpay, Klarna, PayPal Pay Later and All Pet Card financing.

Policies

Nothing is sold off a menu. A program is recommended only after the in-person evaluation, and if another professional would serve you better, Alpha Obedience says so.

Prices are published on the website before you call. Board and train graduates get a comprehensive go-home session with written instructions and follow-up support, since consistency at home is what preserves the progress.

Alpha Obedience Dog Training is a Katy, Texas dog trainer built on one idea the business calls “Success Through Leadership.” It was founded in 2019 by Master Trainer Katie Kelly, who brings 15 years in the field, and it works with dogs of every breed, size and age across Katy, Fulshear, Cypress, Richmond and the greater Houston area.

The goal is not a dog who performs tricks. It is a dog who is calm in the house, steady on a walk and easy to live with. Katie reads the dog and coaches the owner, because a program only works when the two fit together, which is why the same plan can look different in two households.

Programs cover puppy foundations, board and train for dogs seven months and older, behavior modification for anxiety, reactivity, fear and aggression, private in-home coaching, group classes and virtual sessions. Alpha Obedience Dog Training Inc is an AKC Approved Evaluator for Canine Good Citizen, Urban Canine Good Citizen and STAR Puppy, a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, and fully insured.
