Aspirare Paragone Canine Training (“AP Canine”) provides private, in-home dog training in Leonard, Texas and the surrounding areas. Owner and trainer Kawena Revis brings the training to you, working one-on-one with both dog and handler. The approach rests on four pillars, balanced, holistic, personalized, and science-based, captured in the motto “Aspire to Become an Example.”

The philosophy is handler-centered: “I am not here to train your dog; I am here to teach you how to train your own dog.” Every program is a shared educational experience grounded in canine behavior, psychology, genetics, anatomy, and health. Balanced training means using both rewards and corrections within the dog’s natural learning process, tailored to each dog’s breed and learning style.

Services span breed selection and puppy foundations through basic, intermediate, and advanced obedience, plus behavior modification for anxious, fearful, or reactive dogs and a discounted Recent Rescue Rehab program for newly adopted dogs. Advanced and specialty work, including off-leash reliability, tracking, agility, search and rescue, livestock guarding, and service-dog skills such as mobility assistance, is available for established clients.
