Level One (7 days) builds the basics: Sit, Heel, Come, Wait, Let’s Go, and calm leash walking with turns and stops. Level Two (14 days) adds Down, Leave It, Stay, extended sits, door manners, and control around distractions.
The Three-Week Boot Camp covers both levels plus Hop-Up, Go to Heel, greeting manners, and exam preparation, with structured work around other dogs. A therapy dog entry-level program builds the obedience and social skills needed for future therapy work.
Pricing & Policies
Pricing Summary
Board-and-train costs $750 for one week, $1,450 for two weeks, and $2,150 for three weeks. Dog boarding is $35 per day.
The therapy dog entry-level program starts at $4,000.
Policies
Before a board-and-train stay, owners complete a veterinary safety plan and a behavior questionnaire and send current vaccination records. Drop-off and pickup are by appointment.

Best Canine Training LLC is a board-and-train business in Rose Hill, Kansas, serving Wichita, Derby, and nearby communities. Trainer Josh offers obedience training and behavior modification for puppies and adult dogs.
Dogs train on 13 acres around real distractions like other dogs, people, and everyday noise. The approach is relationship-based, built on communication, consistency, and praise, with no shock collars or prong collars.
Programs run one, two, or three weeks, and dogs can also board on their own. Owners get progress photos and videos during the stay and a go-home review so the training carries over at home.
Josh takes puppies, adult dogs, and rescues, and works with reactivity, anxiety, and aggression after evaluating each dog. Every program starts with a phone call about the dog and the owner’s goals.
