Dog Training Methodology
The Cookie That Consult is a video review, live consult, and follow up package. Clients send up to ten minutes of video of the issue in advance, then meet Jess for a one hour live virtual session where she troubleshoots the problem and, when helpful, uses her own dogs to demonstrate concepts. Afterward she sends a written follow up covering what was discussed, often with video examples to practice from.

About the Trainer
Cookie That is run by Jess Williams, a Lowell, Massachusetts trainer who works with dog sport handlers whose dogs either kick into overdrive or shut down under pressure. She works with competitors in agility, disc, protection sports, herding, and scentwork who need help with arousal, anxiety, and focus so training and competing feel fun again instead of stressful.
Consults are done virtually. Clients send Jess up to ten minutes of video showing the issue ahead of time, then join a one hour live online session where she digs into the problem and starts troubleshooting right away, sometimes using her own dogs to demonstrate concepts. After the call she sends a detailed written follow up, often with video examples to practice from.
Jess has been a full-time dog trainer since 2009 and has been immersed in dog sports for over 30 years. She was the youngest person to qualify for the world championships in canine frisbee in 2002 and earned her first AKC agility MACH with her childhood dog Zoe. She has taught classes and led seminars in dogs states and worked with some of the toughest behaviorally challenged dogs in the sport dog world.
