Hunters Springers focuses on raising and training English Springer Spaniels to be exceptional hunting dogs. Their program emphasizes breeding for health, excellent temperament, affection, and strong innate hunting instincts. Training involves developing these natural abilities from a young age, including scent recognition, flushing, marking downed birds, and retrieving to hand, both on land and in water.

Their dogs are trained for upland bird hunting, including pheasants, quail, chukars, sharp tail grouse, partridge, woodcock, and ruffed grouse. They regularly compete in and achieve high placements in various field trials and hunt challenges, such as those organized by the United Field Trialers Association (UFTA) and the National Upland Classic Series (NUCS). The trained dogs also serve as guide dogs for hunts at preserves.
