Black Hills Battle Buddies is wonderful. The trainer is professional, friendly, very accommodating, and really knows what she is doing. She gave us the tools to train our little fur babies. I highly recommend BHBB!

Black hill battle buddies saved my dog. She had been attacked by an aggressive dog and became fearful. But thanks to Black Hills Battle Buddies my dog is on the path to being able to be around dogs again! I won’t go anywhere else for training.

About the Trainer
Elite Cerberus Canines Services is a veteran-owned dog training business founded by Jessica and Ariel, former Army soldiers who started after struggling to obtain service dog training for their own disabilities. They specialize in behavioral modification and service dog training, helping owners turn their pets into task-trained service dogs for physical and mental ailments.
They offer obedience training as a mandatory prerequisite for their service dog program, along with behavioral modification sessions to address aggression and anxiety. In addition to training, they provide dog walking, fecal removal, pet sitting, boarding, pet fencing, and training for other animals like horses and cats.
Their services are available across Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, and they are expanding with a new boarding facility opening in October 2026. They emphasize that every dog is trainable and that the ultimate goal is to empower owners to become their dog’s primary trainer.
They are an AKC-certified training provider offering seven AKC certification programs, including Canine Good Citizen, Community Canine, Urban CGC, Trick Dog, Therapy Dog, and Fit Dog. Their training plans are structured in sessions, with payment plans available and discounts for multiple dogs. They also offer custom training for unique needs.
The business has received mixed reviews, with some clients praising their professionalism and effectiveness, while others have raised serious concerns about ethical conduct, including allegations of unauthorized rehoming of a service dog and poor training quality.
