About the Trainer
Friends of Leroy Brown offers dog training classes aimed at helping dog owners train their dogs to become AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) titled dogs. The program focuses on building confidence and community connection through handler-dog teamwork, with training applicable in settings like nursing homes, libraries, and schools.
The organization also provides adult day support services that include socialization and dog-related activities for participants, using trained dogs as tools for engagement. Dog training is delivered at their facilities in Lima, Bellefontaine, and Leesburg, Ohio.
While the business name suggests a focus on dog training, the website content primarily describes adult day support services for people, with dog training framed as a component of those services rather than a standalone offering for general dog owners. There is no clear description of training methods, class structure, or direct services for pet owners seeking obedience or behavior training for their personal dogs.
Accomplishments
Dogs are trained to achieve AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) titles.
