About the Trainer

Hound to Human Dog Obedience Training is a locally owned dog training service that offers one-on-one private training sessions tailored to each owner and dog’s unique needs. They use positive reinforcement, treat lure, and redirection methods to build trust and strengthen the bond between dogs and their owners. Training is available for any age, breed, or size of dog, including those who are hearing or visually impaired, with touch and sign training options. Sessions are held in a fully fenced park or at the client’s home, making it convenient and accessible. They specialize in basic obedience, housebreaking, behavior modification, and problem-solving for issues like reactivity, aggression, leash pulling, resource guarding, and excessive barking.

They also offer “Trick” classes to deepen the emotional connection between pets and owners, and “Problem Dog” classes for dogs with challenging behaviors, requiring a muzzle during the initial evaluation. All training is customized, with open communication emphasized to ensure long-term success.

How to Get Started!

Call or text to book a training session. Problem Dog clients undergo an initial evaluation before starting classes, during which a muzzle is required.
