Sessions run about 90 minutes, and Ann follows up with a summary email of written and video materials. The focus is on giving dogs positive alternative behaviors and coaching owners to communicate clearly through voice, body language, and consistency. Ann works with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages, from puppies to adults, addressing everything from basic obedience and leash manners to jumping, reactivity, fearfulness, and other behavior challenges. Pet and house-sitting is available as a secondary service.

Pricing Summary

Private training is delivered in 1.5-hour sessions held in your home. New clients begin with a two-session prepaid package for $360; additional sessions are scheduled individually at $180 each. The first session includes an assessment and a customized training plan, followed by a summary email with written and video materials.

Ms. Fairy Dogmother also offers pet and house-sitting in your home: $35 per 20-minute drop-in visit, $40 per hour (two-hour minimum), and $165 for overnight care (6 pm to 8 am). A travel rate of $1 per mile applies beyond the first 10 miles from Azle.

Accomplishments

Ann Coffey is a master trainer with more than 28 years of experience, having trained dogs in California, Arkansas, Colorado, and Texas. She has enjoyed a dual career as an RN/Nurse Practitioner and as a professional dog and bird trainer. Her work spans family obedience, behavior modification, and conformation show-ring preparation, and even film: her trained dog Shellie starred in the TV movie “Mr. Christmas” (2005).
