Testimonials
“Zack and entire Next-Door K9 Solutions saved our walks! Zack taught our 2.5yo (very untrained) pup how to properly walk on and off-leash, something we are so grateful for. We highly recommend this team to anyone looking for dog training.”
– Ripley
“From the moment of first contact to each subsequent lesson, Zach is professional and personable. There is no hiding his love of dogs or his skill as a trainer. In just a few training sessions, he has Fiona doing things that I didn’t believe she’d ever do and she adores him.”
– Paula
“I was very impressed by how much progress both my dogs made in just 2 weeks. I also know they were treated well as evidenced by the affection they displayed towards Zack during the transition at the end of the program.”
– Keisha
About the Trainer
Next-Door K9 Solutions works with dog owners in the Williamsburg, Virginia area, offering board and train, on and off leash obedience, puppy training, and behavior modification. Dogs train and board in the trainers’ own homes, with daily routines built around each dog’s needs.
The company’s approach is built on three principles: communication, fairness, and understanding. Training is described as well-rounded and balanced, with programs adjusted to fit the individual dog rather than a single fixed method.
Programs cover potty training, socialization, leash manners, off leash reliability, and behavior work for issues like aggression, anxiety, and reactivity. Puppy programs focus on building good habits early and exposing puppies to new environments to build confidence.
