About the Trainer

What’s Unique About The Dog Wizard Lexington, In Their Words

The Dog Wizard Lexington operates alongside its boarding partner, giving dogs a consistent, familiar space for both training and stays. The team is explicit about its methodology, using a fully balanced training approach and tailoring explanations to each dog’s specific breed rather than offering one-size-fits-all advice. Classes stay small for more individual attention, and a home visit after board-and-train helps make sure new skills carry over into everyday life.

Our Take

The Dog Wizard Lexington offers experienced dog trainers specializing in behavior and obedience dog training, working alongside a boarding partner so dogs have a consistent, familiar space for both training and stays. Their approach goes beyond basic commands, focusing on helping dogs make better choices and respond to their owners even in distracting environments. The team is explicit about its methodology, using a fully balanced training approach and tailoring instruction to each dog’s specific breed instead of a one-size-fits-all program.

They offer flexible dog training plans, mobile dog training options, and training that includes lifetime support. Classes are kept small for more individual attention, and a home visit after board and train helps make sure new skills carry over into the dog’s everyday life.

Additional services include boarding and doggie day care.

How to Get Started!

To get started, The Dog Wizard Frankfort offers a free evaluation. This allows trainers to meet the dog and owner, discuss training goals, and recommend a suitable program. Clients can call to set up an evaluation and will be asked about their dog’s age (puppy under 6 months, adult over 6 months) and if there are behavior issues, along with their zip code.
