Training programs include Competition Foundation Skills, Competition Obedience, Rally Obedience, Pet Obedience, Trick Dog, and Walkabout Obedience. Group classes meet once weekly for 1 hour over 8 or 10 weeks.

Private lessons are one-on-one, approximately 1 hour, with flexible scheduling. All programs emphasize real-life application and skill retention.

AKC Canine Good Citizen testing is included in Life Skills classes.

Pricing Summary

Group classes cost $225 for 8 weeks or $280 for 10 weeks for non-members; members pay $160 for 8 weeks or $200 for 10 weeks. Private lessons with Sylvie are $110 for the initial session and $90/hour thereafter; non-members pay $70/hour for pet or rally private lessons, members pay $60/hour. Prices do not include tax or credit/debit service charges.

Policies

Top Class K-9 LLC does not handle dogs with bite histories or aggression toward people or other dogs. Puppy mouthing or playful grabbing is not considered aggression. Clients with such dogs are directed to their veterinarian for referral to appropriate trainers.

Two of her AmStaffs were invited to the AKC National Obedience Championships in 2018–2021. Sylvie and Brynna placed first in their group and ranked #36 at the 2019 AKC National Obedience Championship.

Independent trainer Carol has multiple AKC and ASCA titles with her dogs. Crystal graduated from Top Class K-9’s apprenticeship program.
