Dog Training Methodology
Canine Sports Academy offers several structured training programs. The Puppy and Puppy+ class is a 7-week program designed for young dogs aged 8-12 weeks, covering potty training, socialization, grooming, and basic obedience cues.
Basic Obedience classes are 4 weeks long and are offered in four levels, tailored to the dog’s experience and skills. The academy also provides classes for AKC Canine Good Citizenship (CGC, CGCA, CGCU) certifications, with instructors who are certified AKC evaluators; testing can also be done separately.
Specialty classes are available based on instructor availability and include Fit Dog, Rally, Obedience, Fitness, Tricks, Scent, Reactivity, and Recall. Seminars are also held periodically.
