Doggie Steps Dog Training

Board and Train is a one or two week stay at Mark’s house with daily hands-on training. Every stay covers core commands, potty training, leash work, socialization with Mark’s own dogs, and ends with a written summary and a demonstration of everything worked on.

In-Home training runs four weeks, once or twice a week, in the dog’s own home. Mark works on commands, potty training, leash manners, and real household distractions like the doorbell, kids, and guests.

At My Home training runs four weeks, once or twice a week, at a local Chandler park. It covers the same commands and leash work around outdoor distractions, other dogs, and people.

Combo packages pair Board and Train or the four-week programs with in-home sessions or an advanced group class. Group training is offered to existing clients by referral rather than open enrollment.

Pricing Summary

Board and Train is $2,000 for one week or $3,900 for two weeks, with lifetime follow-up support by text or email. In-Home training starts at $650 for four weeks once weekly and $1,275 twice weekly.

At My Home training at the park starts at $575 for four weeks once weekly and $1,125 twice weekly. Combo packages run from $900 to $4,500.

Extra dogs, multi-pet homes, and aggression or anxiety cases add to the starting price. Mark confirms the real number before you book.

Policies

Doggie Steps does not guarantee an outcome on any service, because results depend on owners keeping up the routine at home. Shock collars and choke chains are never used on any dog.

Doggie Steps Dog Training is a Chandler dog training business owned and run by Mark Siebel since 2005. Mark has trained over 7,000 dogs himself, with no staff hand-off, and draws on a background in human and dog psychology.

He specializes in aggression and anxiety cases, which make up roughly half of his caseload. Training is positive reinforcement only, using verbal commands and hand signals, and never a shock collar or choke chain.

Clients choose from Board and Train at Mark’s house, four weeks of In-Home training, or four weeks of At My Home training at a local Chandler park. Mark teaches the whole household the commands and routines, and his own dogs join sessions when a dog needs social practice.

Accomplishments

Mark Siebel has run Doggie Steps since 2005 and has trained over 7,000 dogs personally. He studied psychology at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and Chandler-Gilbert Community College.

He teaches the dog training portion of Pet Care Team Training, a certification program for professional pet sitters and dog walkers, as one of five expert trainers in the course. Roughly half of his caseload is aggression and anxiety work.
