Remote online training is available via video chat. Sniff Space Retreat offers private, off-leash playtime in a controlled indoor/outdoor environment.

At Synergy Dog Training & Behavior Solutions, Sarah and Annie are certified dog trainers with over 35–40 years of combined experience helping dog owners overcome behavioral challenges and build stronger, more confident relationships with their dogs. They offer private training, group classes, and a unique Sniff Space Retreat — a private, off-leash indoor and outdoor play area for stress-free dog exercise.
Their approach emphasizes positive, play-based learning that fosters cooperation rather than control, helping dogs thrive in real-world environments. They specialize in reactivity, fearfulness, leash pulling, and separation anxiety, and work with all dog types, ages, and backgrounds — including sensitive, scared, or previously abused dogs.
They also provide remote online training for clients outside their service area and offer a VIP program with unlimited private and group sessions. Their team is known for empathy, flexibility, and personalized plans that prioritize the dog’s emotional well-being and the owner’s lifestyle.
They are certified professionals with affiliations to the International Association of Canine Professionals and are AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluators. Accomplishments
Sarah has over 30 years of experience, served as Chief Operations Officer for Dogs Playing for Life, trained dogs confiscated from abuse and hoarding cases with the ASPCA, and managed the Training & Behavior Department at Longmont Humane Society. She is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and Pet First Aid Responder.
Annie has 12 years of experience at Longmont Humane Society, specializing in shelter dog behavior and socialization. Both are Certified Professional Dog Trainers through IACP.
