Vom Millerhaus Deutsch Drahthaars is a breeder focused on providing serious hunting dogs to serious hunters. Their goal is to produce versatile dogs capable of retrieving geese in the morning and pointing grouse in the afternoon.
They specialize in medium-sized, athletic Deutsch Drahthaars that are independent yet cooperative. These dogs are expected to be excellent trackers and retrievers of game, suitable for tasks such as tracking wounded deer for bow hunters. A priority for the VDD (Verein Deutsch Drahthaar) and breed enthusiasts, which Vom Millerhaus upholds, is for their dogs to be particularly strong in the recovery of shot game.
