2 Dogz Canine Training

Aggressive dogs may be expelled from group classes; private sessions are recommended. All dogs must be leashed on property, vaccinated (including Bordetella), flea-free, and cleaned up after. Young children must be supervised by an additional adult.

2 Dogz Canine Training is a humane, science-based dog training business led by Darlene Frederick, an IAABC-Accredited Dog Trainer and certified APDT Canine Life & Social Skills Instructor. She offers group classes and private one-on-one training using only positive reinforcement methods, avoiding all aversive tools like choke chains, prong collars, and electronic shock collars. Her programs focus on building strong bonds between dogs and owners through fun, stress-free learning that includes games, real-life skills, and obedience foundations. All dogs must be fully vaccinated, including Bordetella, and flea-free to attend classes. Dogs in heat or showing aggression are not permitted in group settings, and owners are encouraged to communicate any concerns upfront.

Accomplishments

Darlene Frederick holds a B.S. in Biology, is an IAABC-Accredited Dog Trainer (IAABC-ADT), a certified APDT Canine Life & Social Skills Instructor and Evaluator, an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, and an AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Evaluator. She has extensive experience training dogs for obedience, agility, and rally competitions, and has taught group classes and private lessons for years.
