Vicki has not only helped train my dog Diesel but has trained me! The determination that she has had in setting both myself and my dog up for success is not only impressive, but extremely admirable. She has been quick to answer my questions during training sessions, as well as when I have messaged her during the week between training sessions. I have been to a few trainers before meeting Vicki and by far she is my favorite because of her love for not only my dog, but what she does for all the dogs she works with. The consistency and dedication on my end for my dog and seeing Vicki pretty regularly for the last six months has definitely made a significant impact in not only my dogs behavior and confidence, but in my own handling situations where before I struggled even keeping myself calm and where I needed to be. Im grateful for the one on one training sessions in her customized doggy training space as well as doing even group training sessions with other dogs who are working on behavioral issues. I would highly recommend Vicki to my family and any of my closest friends.

I adopted a dog that needed some training with pulling on the leash and greeting dogs & people (she loves them & gets super excited). Vicki was a tremendous help! Lady has come a long way! We contacted Vickie for help with Luna. She was a street dog, and when we got her, she spent most of her time shaking from head to toe. She was afraid of everything. We worked with her, by ourselves, for over a year and managed to get her to move around some of the house and walk a bit outside the house. She would still shake uncontrollably when people came into the house. She spent most of her time with her ears back, tail tucked, hiding upstairs, or when downstairs, taking up as little space as possible on a corner of the couch. We were stuck and didn’t know what to do. We found Vickie online and called her.

Vickie was kind and professional. She started training Luna at our home (as Luna was prettified of the car). She helped us better understand Luna’s body language, and responses. She worked with us on a specialized training to help Luna slowly become braver, helping her relax – both in and outside the house. We worked on helping Luna try new things, to sniff, to greet, to be comfortable in and around the car and to recover from scares faster. Vicki was just amazing. She was patient and helpful and answered all of our questions. She worked with us and with Luna to figure out what challenges we were facing and figured out how to break down the issues into solvable pieces. Luna now asks us to play and this past weekend she asked our guests to play with her! Instead of hiding, her world is growing and she makes huge strides each week, that are just shocking to us! She still startles, but recovers so much faster. We know when she’s getting nervous and can give her a minute to re-calibrate when needed, meaning Luna is trying more and more things. Vickie also helped us identify a potential inner ear issue that is causing car sickness – despite this we can now take Luna in the car for short trips. Her training really helped with understanding these issues and with talking to the vet!

I would highly recommend Vicki. The difference she made for us and little Luna is huge.
