The Board & Train program is a 3–6 week immersive experience where dogs stay at the facility and train daily under professional guidance, followed by a go-home lesson to teach owners how to maintain results. Private lessons are one-on-one sessions focused on hands-on owner involvement. The Puppy Foundations program targets early socialization and structure. Ongoing group classes are offered after initial training to reinforce skills and build community. Weekly video updates are provided during Board & Train.

Policies
For Board & Train, visits are discouraged until the go-home lesson to maintain training consistency. Boarding requires booking at least 2 weeks in advance, with faster booking recommended for holidays and peak times. Clients are asked to bring their dog’s food, leash, collar, and medications.

We’ve taken our Boxer, Hilo, to 9 Line K9 Academy a few times now, and every experience has been great. Mark and Ronni took wonderful care of our Luna well we were away for 5 days. We originally dropped her off at another boarding location, after dropping her off we turned around and picked her up as the state of the facility was awful. Frantically looking for somewhere as we were leaving that evening for a trip we stumbled across Mark and Ronni. They were exceptionally well priced for the 5 day stay with them. The facility was in top tier cleanliness, she had her own kennel along side the others and could not see the other dogs which we liked. Our girl Luna was very stressed as it was her first time in such a situation. We were also stressed as it was out first time having to board her somewhere. Mark and Ronni put our minds at ease the moment we arrived to drop her off. They showed great compassion for our baby and have a genuine care for every animal that walks through their doors. The team, led by owner and former K9 handler Mark Haverland and his wife Ronni, emphasizes consistency, real-world application, and ongoing support through follow-up group sessions. Ronni Haverland has experience as a special education teacher and small business owner, bringing patience and organizational skills to training.
