Training classes are six weeks long and meet every Saturday at 9:00 AM at Pet Food Express in Roseville. Each class is custom-tailored based on one-on-one consultations between the caregiver and trainer Jennifer Wilson. The curriculum focuses on teaching the “Lucky 7” commands using science-based, stress-free methods. The program emphasizes coaching the owner to reinforce training at home and improve human-canine communication.
Pricing & Policies
Pricing Summary
Private training sessions are $125. Six-week group classes cost $200. Daycare is $30 per day Monday–Friday and $35 on Saturdays. Boarding is $60 per night per dog. Grooming services are available through their partner salon. Prices vary by breed and specific needs.
Policies
Submitting a request form does not confirm services; a consultation is required and scheduled within 24 hours. No pick-ups or drop-offs on Sundays. Full night boarding is charged after 7 PM. Additional $30 daycare fee applies after 10 AM if picked up before 7 PM.

About the Trainer
A Lucky Dog is a family-owned and operated dog training and pet care business founded in 1998 by Jennifer Lee Wilson, a certified Dog Trainer and Behavior Counselor graduated from the San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers. Jennifer studied directly with internationally renowned expert Jean Donaldson and is a long-standing member of The Association of Professional Dog Trainers. The business offers customized obedience training, behavior counseling, pet sitting, boarding, and dog walking services. Their training program is centered on science-based communication and coaching the caregiver to build a strong team with their dog. Classes are held weekly at Pet Food Express in Roseville, CA, and focus on teaching the “Lucky 7” essential commands. They also partner with A Lucky Dog Salon for grooming services. Every new client receives a complimentary consultation to tailor services to their dog’s unique needs.
In addition to training, A Lucky Dog provides daily home visits, private walks, group exercise, overnight pet sitting, and private boarding in a country-home setting with socialization and tailored care. They offer daycare services Monday through Saturday and do not operate on Sundays. How to Get Started!
New clients are offered a complimentary consultation to assess their dog’s needs and customize a service plan. After the consultation, services such as training, boarding, or pet sitting are scheduled.
