About the Trainer
Agility Rush K9 Performance Center is a dog agility training facility owned and operated by John Nys, a multiple national and world agility champion with over 15 years of competitive experience. The center offers group classes, seminars, and online courses focused on building strong foundational skills for dog agility, with an emphasis on positive motivation, consistency, and mental coaching. John trains dogs of all sizes—small, medium, and large—in obedience, jumping, serpentines, collection, extension, and speed drills, helping handlers achieve personal, local, national, or international competition goals. The facility includes dedicated agility rings available for rental and features training programs tailored to beginners through advanced competitors. John’s methods are praised for making complex techniques feel achievable and for fostering deep trust between handler and dog.
In addition to in-person classes and seminars held in New England, Agility Rush K9 provides online courses for remote learners across the USA. The center also offers photo and video galleries showcasing training progress and competition successes, helping clients visualize their potential. While the primary focus is agility, the training philosophy promotes overall canine confidence and handler-dog communication.

Accomplishments
John Nys is a 10-time International World Team Member, 6-time AKC World Team member at FCI World Championships, and 3-time European Open Team Member. He has earned 30 Master Agility Champion Titles and won multiple medals including FCI Gold and Silver Medals in Team and Individual events. He is a former USDAA World Cynosport Grand Prix Champion and has placed in the top 3 at AKC National Agility Championships over nine times. He competed at Westminster Kennel Club and earned Grand Champion status.
