Testimonials

Emma, my Springer Spaniel, and I joined Al’s obedience class a couple of months ago. The course is divided into four levels with dogs and handlers moving from level to level as their competence increases. Al spends time with each handler in every class to demonstrate the commands, such as “down,” “sit,” “wait.” He works with handler and dog until success is achieved. He “packs” a lot of instruction into a brief amount of time. In addition, he is a professional. Rules are written as well as expressed during the orientation. He begins classes on schedule and doesn’t allow anyone to enter class if they are late arrivals. He makes himself available via email to help handlers resolve training problems outside of class. If there are changes in the schedule, everyone is notified via email. This is the best obedience class that I have attended, and I have attended many with several different pets. In addition, the cost of the class is very reasonable. Feb of 2016

Jackson and I just completed Al White’s “Levels Training” program for Dogs. Without a doubt, this was the best money and time I have ever spent on any of my dogs. If you want to understand your dog, and have your dog learn the behavior you want, this is the class you are looking for !!! The focus is on training you (the owner) on how to train your dog using positive reinforcement. The Feisty Fido and Cautious Canine Camps (included in Levels Training) also provide individual, custom help for dealing with behavioral problems. The classes are a great way to have your pet socialize with other dogs in a controlled environment. I was amazed how much progress Jackson and I made in a short time and … it really was a lot of fun 🙂 Levels Training was money and time very well spent !!! January 2016

I highly recommend Al if you are looking for a dog trainer or even questioning it. My Maltipoo is 4 years old and we did do puppy training classes but my dog was not social, barked and growled and showed her teeth to friends and strangers, and is a very high anxiety dog. However after just 3 seasons I have learned how to help her deal with all 3 of these problems and much more as he teaches as he goes. He is extremely capable, helpful, knows dogs, and very flexible and willing to work with your schedule. I am so glad I called him and set up these appointments. I think my dog is too:)
