We have done no less than 5 courses, emailed staff, and honestly been the odd dog at times. Not once do i believe we had any bad experience. Owner and staff have all been amazing, willing to changes courses, transfer bills to other courses, pretty much anything i could think of and more.

About the Trainer
Alaska Dog Sports is a dog training center established in 1998 that specializes in positive, relationship-based training for dogs and their owners. They offer both group classes and private training sessions at their Airport Business Park facility, focusing on building communication and trust between dogs and handlers using LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) principles. Their programs include Puppy Basic Skills, Adult Basic Skills, Rally Trial Prep, and specialized behavioral training for issues like fear, aggression, and resource guarding. They also operate an on-site store selling dog training accessories, toys, and specialty items. The facility emphasizes individualized training plans, with no discrimination based on breed, and prioritizes safety and positive interactions over unstructured dog-to-dog play. Instructors are selected for their skill with both dogs and humans, and many are members of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers.
Accomplishments
