Training occurs in two seasonal camps: a 2,000-acre summer camp in West Virginia and a 1,200-acre winter camp in Georgia. Training begins with a free evaluation to assess the dog’s skills and goals. Boarding clients can add training sessions during their stay.

Policies

Reservations are required for all services. Vaccinations (rabies, Bordetella, distemper/parvo) must be current. Drop-off and pick-up are by appointment only. Special hours can be arranged with advance notice. Boarding and training slots fill quickly, especially during holidays.

Joe Orndorff, the lead trainer, has over 17 years of experience training and competing with German Shorthaired Pointers, including handling a 2023 NGSPA National Shooting Dog Champion. Cindy Orndorff manages boarding and pet care, ensuring each dog receives individual attention. They are active members of AKC, NGSPA, and GSPCA, and their facility is built for both performance and comfort.

Accomplishments

Joe Orndorff has trained and handled multiple AKC Field Champions and NGSPA Regional Champions. He owns and trained the 2023 NGSPA National Shooting Dog Champion, Johnny B Good, and has judged prestigious GSP events including the NGSPA National Futurity and GSPCA National Open Gun Dog Championship. The kennel bred and raised Johnny B Good, whose lineage includes multiple NGSPA champions.
