Testimonials
My partner and I got our first dog together about 8 months ago, a 3-year-old Australian Shephard that had been returned by his previous owners to their breeder. Before agreeing to sell and rehome Scout to us, the breeder required that we attend her beginning obedience class. That breeder/trainer was Tara, owner and operator of All Ways Dog Training. We’d never heard of her or met her before. She is the real deal. You will know what that means once you’ve met her.
We attended the beginning class as required, which was covered by Tara at no cost. We’ve signed up for and paid for 2 additional classes since then. Going to school each week with our dog has been a positive experience for all of us. Scout looks forward to our classes. He starts whining with excitement before we even drive through the gates each week. I know nobody has time these days to add more to their schedule, but I hope you don’t wait like I did (I’m 72) to find a great trainer, like Tara, and do this with and for your dog.

We love All Ways Dogs Training. Tara knows what she is talking about with years of experience. She has trained three of our dogs so far, and we have another in training now. This is one of our german shepards that couldn’t travel or be in public before training. But after he was able to go on big trips and out in public with us.

We absolutely love All Ways Dog Training, especially Tara and Megan! Their obedience classes are the real thing — you actually see progress with their training. Einstein, our goldendoodle, is a very energetic adolescent dog. We’ve attended other obedience classes and none of them have come close to All Ways Dog Training! Their set up is fantastic and we do not waste time allowing the dogs to socialize, but rather we use the time to teach, train and learn. Einstein graduated from their first obedience class and have signed him up for intermediate. We will continue solely using them for training purposes, since we actually see so much progress. Einstein gets really excited when he arrives to the facility and is very tired when we get home. Everything they teach is applicable to every day life. We truly cannot say enough amazing things and we will continue to work with them. Thank you so much Tara and Megan for your amazing ability to teach. It has been night and day for Einstein since we started working with both of you.

About the Trainer
All Ways Dog Training LLC is a family-owned dog training business with decades of experience, offering comprehensive training programs for dogs of all ages and needs. They provide group classes including AKC Puppy, Basic Obedience, Intermediate and Advanced Obedience, Agility, Rally Obedience, Nose Work, Trick Training, and Reactive Dog Rehabilitation. They also offer private one-on-one sessions tailored to individual needs. Their facility includes two play fields for socialization and enrichment, and they operate a training daycare on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays that incorporates structured training during playtime. They specialize in service and therapy dog training, helping dogs become comfortable around medical equipment and in public settings. Their approach emphasizes positive, tailored methods that build confidence and strengthen the bond between dog and owner.
Their trainers have extensive experience in behavior modification, particularly for reactive and aggressive dogs, using customized tools and techniques rather than one-size-fits-all methods. They focus on real-life applications, ensuring dogs can behave calmly in environments like baseball games or busy streets. The business is known for its personal touch, with owner Tara leading training and mentoring a new generation of trainers.
In addition to training, they offer doggy daycare with behavioral reinforcement, and their facility supports both physical and mental stimulation through scent work, agility, and obedience games. They welcome all breeds, sizes, and energy levels, including shy, anxious, or fearful dogs.
Accomplishments
Owner Tara has over 30 years of experience training dogs, including reactive and service dog rehabilitation. The business has trained multiple service and therapy dogs, enabling dogs to accompany owners in public and on trips. They offer AKC Star Puppy and Trick Title testing. Their training methods are informed by backgrounds in search and rescue, medical scent detection, and competitive nose work.
