Altamaha Canine Consulting offers intensive board and train programs, typically lasting 8 weeks, where dogs receive structured, daily training in a facility setting. Training includes basic obedience, behavior modification, and socialization. Owners receive updates and photos during the program and are guided on how to continue training at home. Day training and daycare are also available for ongoing support.

It’s a real thing. K9’s can also suffer from PTSD! Grateful for these guys out at the Altamaha Canine Farm. Molly was trained some years ago to be a home protection K9 for her veteran who suffers from TBI and PTSD. She has been through a lot in the past few years along side her veteran. While her veteran was going through a program to address some of his TBI and PTSD issue, Jacob and the team gave her something an individual trainer could not. When Molly and her veteran were reunited she was a different dog. She was playing with other dogs, able to be around crowds without being so anxious and in fight mode.
Also grateful for the family and friends that are coming and going on the farm for their understanding, patience and care with Molly.
