Testimonials
“My puppy’s confidence grew so much by taking her to AGDT’s puppy socialization and puppy kindergarten classes!”
– Christina D.
Getting a puppy is exciting–but let’s be real, it’s also overwhelming (especially in those first few weeks). When our vet recommended Amanda Gagnon Dog Training to help socialize our 10-week-old Cavapoo, Benny, we decided to give it a try–and I’m so glad we did!
We started with a Social Hour and were instantly blown away by the knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly supportive team. Huge shoutout to Liz, Talya, and Suzanne–you’ve been amazing! It’s such a relief knowing our puppy is in expert hands, and even better, we as puppy parents are learning so much too.
The training is clear, confidence-building, and genuinely fun for both dogs and humans. Benny is thriving, and we just signed up for Kindergarten Level 2–we can’t wait to keep learning and growing with this fantastic team!
If you’re looking for structured, science-based training with heart, this is the place to be. Don’t wait–book that first class!

This review is coming about a million years late (my high octane aussie girl and I took the class at 1-2yo and she’s 8 now!) but the group adolescent class we took with AGDT really stuck with us! They covered some of the most important skills for us in such a short time (especially dropping and leaving items!). Learning exercises to practice at home together at any time of day helped with the separation anxiety she was having as a new adoptee. The classes also helped a ton with her recall, being polite on leash, and just with our bond in general! Couldn’t recommend more!
