Amanda’s Dog Training is led by Amanda, a certified dog trainer with over 10 years of experience helping dog owners train their pets using positive, least invasive, minimally aversive (LIMA) techniques. She specializes in customized training programs for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages, focusing on basic obedience, behavior modification, and advanced skills like Canine Good Citizen. Amanda is an AKC Evaluator and holds multiple certifications from the Animal Behavior Institute, including Service Dog Training and Canine First Aid. She offers in-home private lessons, 6-week group courses, service dog training, and puppy socialization classes—all designed to strengthen the bond between dogs and their owners without the use of prong or shock collars.

Her approach emphasizes positive reinforcement, making training enjoyable and effective for both dogs and owners. Amanda also provides specialized programs for reactivity, separation anxiety, leash pulling, and other common behavioral issues, ensuring each dog receives individualized attention based on their unique needs.
