Testimonials
So excited to meet Julia today during our consultation. We have a rescue with prey drive and are searching for hope. Not only does he love her and responded amazing to her instantly, we really like her too! She knows her stuff and has a positive vibe and outlook to her style. We can’t wait for her to help our dog become a well manured canine in society and also to see our cats as siblings, not dinner.

Julia is so fantastic with tough dog behavior! We rescued a pittie a few years ago with a big prey drive and were worried about her around our elderly cat. I am happy to say that all of training with Julia has allowed nose bumps between the two! You will never be disappointed with the results from Julia. She is a gem!

Ashlee has come over several times to help us train our new labrador retriever, Shadow, and the change has been remarkable. Shadow has made great progress in going for walks on a leash, and how to correctly behave when meeting strangers. Best of all, I no longer have to worry about Shadow jumping up on guests in my home. Ashlee is very skilled in dog training, very personable, and always on time! I can easily recommend Ashlee and Apollo Dog Training.

About the Trainer
Apollodog Training is a positive reinforcement-based dog training business founded by Julia Lang, a Certified Animal Behavior Consultant, and her team. They focus on building strong relationships between people and their dogs through personalized, in-home training and behavior modification. Services include obedience training, behavior consulting for anxiety, aggression, and reactivity, and board-and-train programs conducted in their home—not a kennel—where dogs live alongside the trainers’ own rescue dogs. They also offer pet sitting, including specialized aggression sitting and multi-dog care, as well as pet photography. Their approach emphasizes mental health, compassion, and understanding each dog’s unique needs, with a strong commitment to helping rescue dogs and their owners. They provide free video and in-home consultations to assess individual goals.
Their trainers, Julia Lang and Ashlee K, work with dogs of all ages and types, especially those with behavioral challenges like fearfulness, resource guarding, and leash reactivity. The business is deeply rooted in rescue advocacy, with many of their own dogs being rescue animals who have overcome trauma through training. They offer discounts for rescue adopters, military families, and veterans.
They serve the Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown, and surrounding areas, with video consultations available for clients outside the region.
