Founder Janice Patton, a certified behavior consultant and trainer, specializes in resolving complex issues like aggression, fear, separation anxiety, and compulsive behaviors. Accomplishments

Janice Patton, founder and lead behavior specialist, holds a Master’s in Education from the University of Texas and is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC). She is an honors graduate of the San Francisco SPCA Training Academy Counseling program and has studied under renowned experts including Suzanne Clothier, Jean Donaldson, and Patricia McConnell. She has received the Austin Chronicle Miracle Worker Award and chairs the Awards Committee for the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). She has been training dogs since 1996 and has successfully rehabilitated numerous rescue dogs with severe behavioral issues.

How to Get Started!

Prospective clients must schedule an appointment for an initial consultation or evaluation. For dogs with behavioral issues, a private assessment is required before enrolling in group classes. Pre-adoption counseling is available for those considering bringing a new dog home.
