Testimonials
Our fur baby has been going to Balanced Behavior since the middle of 2021. She goes sometimes for doggy day care to burn off some energy or to just have some doggy companionship. We have also boarded her there for a few days and nights at a time when we werent able to take her on trips with us. We also went to in person one on one training there with Caity and she helped us understand how to communicate with Mala on what we would like from her and some manners. They keep her cool in the summer and pay great attention to her if she seems to be getting over stimulated or sore from play. She had one minor scuffle with a dog there and we were instantly called to let us know what had happened and to assure that she was fine and to keep us in the loop with everything. The owner is on site a huge majority of the time and she is also the one that trained Mala and us there on her property. The staff is kind and attentive and friendly and that goes a very long way with me. We had been a devoted fan of another local kennel before Balanced but the new staff always seemed annoyed, hardly smiled and the last straw was when we picked up our dog from a 4 day and night stay and our dog was clearly in pain and was sent home with us with a painful sprained tail. No one mentioned anything to us but it was obvious she was in pain as soon as we got home. Anyways our doggy loves Balanced and we are pretty fond of them too.

This kennel is behind the owners home, on a decent sized property. It’s gated and very clean. There is a big yard which is the main play yard, then side yard, 16 private runs for dogs who are being boarded along with a private doggie door inside their kennel/bed area so they can go out and run. The boarding area is temperature controlled. The main yard area is monitored by two of the girls at all times, they watch the dogs and interact with them. The prices are reasonable. For me it’s close to my house so I like that for conscience. The owner is certified dog trainer and is very nice. I took my dog today for a meet and greet and then left him in daycare for half the day. They were very thorough with me and explained how he was, gave recommendations and went through everything with me. Some of the things they said and recommended are going to be super helpful and I’ve tried working on him with these behaviors, I have heard great things about the owner and her training abilities so I’m hopeful she can help. I’m defiantly going back. My dog is pooped after a few hours there.
