Testimonials

My dog and I have done a few private sessions with Caitlyn. She is patient and is really great at adapting to different breeds and temperaments of dogs. I’m not super confident but she broke things down in a way that I could understand and duplicate with my dog.
– Charlie’s Owner

Caitlyn helped me in a training session with my reactive and fearful pup and the solutions she gave were great! I have carried them with me and have actually noticed a positive change in his behavior now that I know how to better handle him. She is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and has a true teaching personality with easy to understand concepts and explanations.
– Rueben’s Owner

My fiancé and I would 100% recommend Battle Bridge Canine! Caitlyn is wonderful! She is professional, kind, and such a great trainer! She put us at ease from the moment we dropped our Kenny off. She explained everything from the start, the whole time she had Kenny, she communicated with us almost everyday, sent videos so we could see his progress with her and takes great pictures!!

About the Trainer

Battle Bridge Canine is a small, owner-operated dog training and behavioral center based in Newton Grove, NC, serving dog owners across the Triangle Area and surrounding counties. Founded by Caitlyn Parker, the business offers personalized training solutions tailored to each dog’s needs, focusing on balanced training techniques that combine rewards and corrections to create clear, consistent communication. Services include private lessons, board and train programs for puppies, obedience, behavior modification, and refresher boarding. A key advantage is their commitment to owner education—clients receive hands-on guidance during halfway and go-home lessons, plus a free post-program private lesson. Training occurs in real-life environments, including homes and public spaces, ensuring dogs generalize skills beyond the facility. With a maximum of three dogs trained at a time, Caitlyn provides focused, individualized attention. She also offers daily photo and video updates during board and train stays to keep owners informed and connected.

Caitlyn has formal training from Highland Canine’s six-month program and has been training professionally since 2019, building experience through a large boarding facility before launching her own business. She uses slip leads, prong collars, and e-collars as part of her balanced approach, with full explanations provided during consultations. The business prioritizes building trust, structure, and engagement between dogs and their owners, helping resolve issues like reactivity, leash pulling, jumping, biting, and separation anxiety.

All clients receive ongoing support via text or phone after training, and the business serves dogs of all breeds, ages, and problem types with no one-size-fits-all programs.

Accomplishments

Caitlyn Parker completed a six-month professional dog training course at Highland Canine, covering obedience, behavior modification, service dog training, and police dog techniques. She has been training professionally since 2019, gaining experience at a large boarding facility before founding Battle Bridge Canine. She has trained a wide variety of breeds and complex behavioral cases, with consistent client testimonials highlighting her expertise and results.
