Testimonials
My dog and I have done a few private sessions with Caitlyn. She is patient and is really great at adapting to different breeds and temperaments of dogs. I’m not super confident but she broke things down in a way that I could understand and duplicate with my dog. I definitely recommend Battle Bridge Canine!
– Charlie’s Owner
Our experience with Caitlyn was nothing short of much more than we expected. We trusted her with our 16-week German Shepherd for a three week board and train, and boy did it pay off. Our Shepherd learned so much beyond basic obedience principles, and thanks to a strong foundation set by Caitlyn, she has learned so much more since training and catches on easily when training at home. I would recommend her 100% without hesitation to anybody looking for a reputable dog trainer.
– Birch’s Owner
100% Professional, incredibly responsive, outstanding communication & terrific results! Caitlyn works magic! The board and train services she offers is exceptional and the time she takes to get to know each dog, their quirks & skill sets is remarkable!

About the Trainer
Battle Bridge Canine is a dog training business based in Coats, North Carolina, founded and operated by Caitlyn Parker, a certified dog trainer with extensive hands-on experience since 2019. The business offers personalized training solutions for dogs of all ages, breeds, and behavioral challenges, including puppy training, leash pulling, reactivity, aggression, separation anxiety, and more. Their approach is balanced, using all four quadrants of operant conditioning—rewarding desired behaviors and correcting undesired ones—to create clear, consistent communication for dogs. Training occurs in real-life environments, including the home and public spaces, not just in a facility. They emphasize owner education, offering half-way and go-home lessons during board-and-train programs, plus a free post-program private lesson. They keep caseloads small, training no more than three dogs at a time to ensure individualized attention.
Services include private lessons, puppy board and train, obedience board and train, behavior modification board and train, and refresher boarding. They use training tools such as slip leads, prong collars, and e-collars, with full explanation provided during consultations. Their goal is to build a strong, lasting bond between dogs and owners through structured, fair, and compassionate training.
Caitlyn has completed a six-month course at Highland Canine and has trained service and police dogs, in addition to working at a large boarding facility. She is passionate about behavior science and tailors every program to the dog’s unique needs.
Accomplishments
Caitlyn Parker completed a six-month professional dog training course at Highland Canine, covering obedience, behavior modification, service dog training, and police dog training. She has trained dogs since 2019 while working at a large boarding facility and now runs her own business with a focus on individualized, science-based training.
