Bay Dogs offers structured, in-home private training packages tailored to the dog’s needs and the owner’s goals. The Core Fundamentals Package covers leadership, communication, and motivation. Add-ons include reactivity/socialization training or off-leash obedience using a remote electronic collar. All packages include multiple sessions with follow-up support. Single lessons are available only to past clients for skill refinement.

Pricing Summary
Core Fundamentals Package: $699 (4 lessons, 5 hours). Core + Reactivity/Socialization Package: $799 (5 lessons, 6 hours). Core + Off-leash Obedience Package: $1099 + tax (6 lessons, 7 hours + e-collar). Single lessons for previous clients: $150/hour.

Bay Dogs is a dog training business focused on building a strong, trusting relationship between dog owners and their pets through clear communication and positive, fun interactions. Led by owner and trainer Lauren Dobelbower, the business offers personalized, in-home training packages designed to address a wide range of behavioral issues including puppy training, leash pulling, reactivity, separation anxiety, jumping, barking, chewing, and fearfulness. Lauren emphasizes owner commitment and customization, tailoring each plan to fit the dog’s learning style and the family’s lifestyle. With over 13 years of experience, she uses positive reinforcement and behavior modification techniques to help dogs thrive in everyday life. Training is conducted in the client’s home to ensure real-world application and long-term success.
Lauren is a certified Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator through the American Kennel Club and a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals. She has taught courses at Anne Arundel Community College on canine body language and pet therapy training, and has successfully trained therapy dogs, including one of her own Perro de Presa Canarios. Her approach is compassionate, patient, and highly responsive, with follow-up support provided to clients.
Services include private in-home sessions with structured packages ranging from Core Fundamentals to specialized training for reactivity and off-leash obedience. Single lessons are available for previous clients. All training is designed to empower owners to maintain results long after sessions end.

Lauren Dobelbower has over 13 years of experience training thousands of dogs and their owners. She is a certified Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator through the American Kennel Club and a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals. She has taught courses at Anne Arundel Community College on Canine Body Language and Pet Therapy Training. She trained Vinny, one of only two Perro de Presa Canarios ever certified as a pet therapy dog through Pet Partners.
