Beyond the Dog- Kansas City

We were looking for training services after adopting our Great Dane, Hank, and wanting to introduce him to our cats without knowing where to start. Beyond the Dog was one of very few training options in the area that offered a program specializing in dog-cat socialization, and we cannot express enough how glad we are to have found them!

Erin was an INCREDIBLE trainer. She’s patient, knowledgable, kind, and breaks down the weekly training so it feels approachable. Her visits quickly became Hank’s favorite part of the week and I could tell he actually enjoyed training and learning new skills. Erin was equally great with our cats, being flexible when our feral cat colony was less than cooperative and still finding ways to get the most out of each session.

We’re now able to enjoy couch time as a family, which we NEVER would have thought possible. We will miss our visits with Erin, but we feel so supported with the tools and knowledge she equipped us with and know her support is just a text away. We recommend Erin and Beyond the Dog to anyone looking for help getting their dog and cat to coexist, it’s worth every penny!

Erin is a fantastic trainer! I highly recommend her for any of your canine needs. She catered to our specific needs during the training process. Our puppy is rather rambunctious and she worked on his interaction with our cat and even helped with teaching our older dog some new tricks! This was all on top of the basic dog manners she taught our puppy. Our puppy was so thrilled every time Erin came over and she left us with a lot of confidence to keep up with his training when she wasn’t there. We have been incredibly happy with Tiffany and she has been an amazing and patient trainer for our dogs. We have been working with Tiffany for nearly two years. She trained our first puppy Saddie (girl) so well that we decided to add a second puppy to our family a year later whose name is Milo (boy). Milo didn’t listen as well as Sadie (it took a little longer for him to catch on!) but she was so patient with him (and us!). Tiffany helped us navigate our electric fence training seamlessly and offered guidance when the puppy didn’t quite care about the electric fence. They are both such great and well behaved dogs and love playing with our children – that peace of mind is priceless. Tiffany is basically extended family now and we could not imagine our lives without her help and guidance!!
