Training is customized to each dog and owner’s needs, offered in one-on-one sessions at the client’s home or chosen location. Programs include basic obedience, advanced obedience, off-leash training, and AKC certification testing. Services also include structured dog walking, daily drop-in visits with play and feeding, and in-home boarding with activity and photo updates.

Pricing Summary
Pricing is available upon request for all services. Training is offered in 1-hour minimum sessions at home or at their facility. Dog walking is a 30-minute service. Drop-in visits, pet sitting, and boarding are priced per visit or stay. All prices are subject to change without notice.

Big Dog K9, LLC of Connecticut is a locally owned dog training business founded by Paul, a lifelong dog lover and AKC-certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator with over 10 years of experience training dogs of all sizes, from under 20 lbs to over 100 lbs. They offer personalized, in-home training sessions for basic and advanced obedience, off-leash control, and AKC-certified programs including S.T.A.R. Puppy, Canine Good Citizen, and Trick Dog. In addition to training, they provide dog walking, drop-in visits, pet sitting, and in-home boarding with daily photo updates to keep owners informed. Their services are tailored to individual needs, and they are insured and Red Cross certified in pet first aid/CPR.
Paul emphasizes compassion and patience, working with puppies, adolescents, adults, and seniors across all breeds.
