Bon-Clyde Learning Center, founded in 1990 by Bonnie Buchanan, is a long-standing dog training facility in North Carolina with over 35 years of experience. The center offers group classes and private lessons in obedience, rally, agility, therapy dog preparation, and trick training. Mini-Bon Learning Center is the new training hub, operating with a mobile and flexible approach as Bonnie enjoys semi-retirement while continuing to train and travel with her show dogs. The facility emphasizes positive, skill-based training methods and provides structured programs for puppies, adolescents, and adult dogs. Specialized classes include CGC and Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dog preparation, Foundation Skills for Agility, and the unique Acting Class for trick and film-ready dogs. Bonnie’s legacy includes breeding and training champion Border Collies who have starred in national commercials and won top honors at Westminster and the Border Collie Nationals. The center fosters a strong community of dog owners and offers rental space for ring practice.
