About the Trainer

Bon-Clyde Learning Center, founded by Bonnie Buchanan, has been a prominent dog training business for over 35 years. It previously operated a 22,000 square-foot climate-controlled indoor facility with multiple matted rings for various dog sports and classes. The center was known for offering classes ranging from puppy training and beginner obedience to all levels of competition, breed handling, and acting.

As of early 2025, the physical building was sold, and Bonnie Buchanan is transitioning into semi-retirement. Her new vision involves traveling with her show dogs and enjoying training in different locations, with a full reveal planned for Spring 2025. The business continues under the names “Bon Clyde Learning Center” and “Bon Clyde Canine Professional’s.”

Bon-Clyde Canine Professionals offers specialized services training multiple breeds of dogs for still shots, commercials, and movies, emphasizing quality training and professional standards with over 20 years of experience in this specific field. They offer a large selection of purebred and mixed-breed dogs with special looks and talents, providing references and portfolios upon request. The center also hosts agility trials, CGC/Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dog testing, seminars, workshops (including Nosework and Canine Acting), and “Show N Go” practice events.
