Boss K9

Boss K9 offers Private Lessons, Board & Train, and Day Board & Train programs. Private Lessons are one-on-one sessions (45-75 minutes, weekly) conducted at the client’s home, predetermined public locations, or their facility. These include Core, Advanced, Puppy Core, and Off Leash Puppy packages, addressing foundational to advanced obedience, off-leash training, and minor behavioral issues like jumping, leash reactivity, and excessive barking. They are not suitable for serious behavioral issues.

Board & Train programs are intensive, immersive training experiences at their facility, ranging from 2 to 5 weeks. These programs teach a communication system using verbal markers, energy, rewards, and corrections, helping dogs with stress, fear, anxiety, and socialization. They are designed for various needs, from naturally balanced temperaments to severe behavioral issues like human or dog aggression, severe separation anxiety, and bite records (requiring a minimum 4-week stay).

Day Board & Train programs run Monday-Friday for 2 to 6 weeks, allowing owners to drop off their dogs for training during the day and pick them up in the evening. These programs include weekly private lessons and are suitable for social dogs needing obedience, puppy training, or minor behavioral issues, but not for aggression or bite records. All Board & Train packages include free in-person follow-ups and phone/email support.

Pricing Summary

All training package prices include equipment, except for Day Board & Train programs where tools are billed separately. Board and Train packages include free follow-ups. Private lesson packages include the Core Package ($800 for 4 lessons), Advanced Package ($1,600 for 8 lessons), Puppy Core Package ($800 for 4 lessons), and Off Leash Puppy Package ($1,600 for 8 lessons). In-home private lessons incur a $1.00 per mile travel fee.

Day Board & Train programs are priced at $1,000 for 10 days, $2,000 for 20 days, and $3,000 for 30 days. Board & Train packages range from $2,200 for 2 weeks to $5,500 for 5 weeks, each including 2 free in-person follow-ups and phone/email support. Client-exclusive boarding is $80 per night, including training touch-ups.

All payments are non-refundable. Payment plans are available, including PayPal Financing for six months interest-free. If additional time is needed for Board & Train, the weekly cost is $1,100.

Policies

All payments made to Boss K9 are non-refundable. For dogs with a bite record, a minimum 4-week Board & Train program is mandatory, with no exceptions; shorter board and trains or private lessons are not offered for these cases. Prior to arrival for Board & Train, clients must complete all paperwork, including an in-depth Medical & Wellness Policy, and ensure their dog is comfortable with a crate. If a dog requires a muzzle, a muzzle fitting appointment and conditioning guidance will be provided after booking, and dogs must be fully muzzle conditioned upon arrival.
