Training programs include foundation through advanced agility, AKC STAR Puppy and CGC, basic obedience, scent work (NW1–NW3), dock diving, and FAST CAT. Classes are structured in progressive levels with weekly sessions. Specialty clinics and seminars with national instructors are offered periodically. Private lessons are available for pool training and customized goals.

Pricing Summary

Group classes range from $120–$300 for 4–8 week sessions. Private pool lessons are $60 for 30 minutes. Pool rentals are $35 for 30 minutes or $60 for 1 hour. Monthly agility memberships are $75; family agility memberships are $100. No refunds are offered for unused classes unless specified by policy.

Policies

Classes are non-refundable unless the instructor determines the class is too advanced for the dog, in which case a refund may be issued. Cancellations require advance notice; rescheduling is subject to availability. Facility rentals and memberships require advance booking and are confirmed via email.

Bratty Paws Dog Plex is Southwest Florida’s first indoor, climate-controlled dog training and event center, located on 10 acres in Punta Gorda. The facility features a 21,000 sq. ft. air-conditioned space with a 12,000 sq. ft. artificial turf agility arena, a 50-ft NADD-approved dock diving pool, and dedicated classrooms for puppy and obedience training. They offer group classes in agility, obedience, scent work, dock diving, and FAST CAT, as well as private swim lessons and specialty clinics led by experienced instructors. The center also includes a full-service pet supply store selling high-end dog food, training gear, and sport-specific equipment. With RV sites available and ample outdoor space for exercise, Bratty Paws supports both recreational and competitive dog sports year-round.

Instructors include certified professionals with backgrounds in AKC, UKC, and Cynosport events, including agility, conformation, rally, and scent work. They use science-based, positive reinforcement methods and cater to dogs of all ages and skill levels—from STAR Puppy and CGC beginners to advanced competition teams.

The facility is available for private rentals, weekly ring memberships, and event hosting, making it a hub for dog sports in Southwest Florida.

Accomplishments

Instructors hold multiple AKC and international titles in agility, obedience, rally, and conformation. Cathie Foster is a World Cynosport Rally judge and earned a Grand Champion Versatility Title. Courtney has competed at AKC, UKI, and CPE Nationals. Mona has 12+ years of dock diving competition and instruction experience. Lori developed a successful reactivity program that reduced shelter return rates from 33% to nearly 0%.
