Brian Tuel’s Dog Training At Your Door is a home-based dog training service in Crystal River, Florida, led by Brian Tuel, a professional trainer with over 50 years of experience in dog training and handling. Brian specializes in in-home training for puppies and adult dogs, addressing behavioral issues such as leash pulling, jumping, barking, separation anxiety, biting, and poor recall. He also installs in-ground electronic fences using PetSafe systems and offers training to help dogs understand boundaries. Brian’s approach combines hands-on instruction with worksheets and homework for owners to maintain consistency. He is a member of the Professional Handlers Association (PHA) and has professionally shown over a thousand AKC championship dogs, including at Westminster Kennel Club. His services include show handling, nutrition advice, and grooming guidance. He provides unlimited consultations and works with all dog sizes and breeds, from small Papillons to large Dobermans and herding breeds.
In addition to training, Brian distributes NuVet vitamins and offers self-installation kits for electronic fences. He is known for his patient, personalized style and has helped clients with senior, deaf, and highly reactive dogs. Accomplishments
Brian Tuel has professionally shown over 1,000 AKC championship dogs, including at the Westminster Kennel Club. He operated a 240-animal boarding and grooming kennel from 1980–1993 and founded an Invisible Fence® dealership in 1987. He is a member of the Professional Handlers Association (PHA Member #P0320) and has trained dogs to become top-ranked in their breeds, including the #1 Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier in the country.
