New group classes begin every six weeks (excluding July and August), held one evening per week for six consecutive weeks from 6:30–8:00 p.m. Each class includes basic obedience training, CGC preparation, socialization time, and equipment instruction. An Advanced/Fun Class is available for past students, covering off-leash work, Rally, and Agility. Private sessions are offered year-round.

He has resource guarding issues… Ann offered some great observations, and made necessary suggestions to curb SAFELY prevent further guarding issues. Brody’s Boot Camp is a professional dog training business run by Ann, a certified and insured trainer based in Seneca Falls, NY. She offers small, semi-private group classes held in a comfortable, heated/air-conditioned facility from September through June, with year-round private sessions available. Classes focus on basic obedience commands—Sit, Stay, Heel, Come, Lie Down, and Attention—and prepare dogs for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test. Ann emphasizes calm, firm training using the owner’s energy, body language, and tone as primary tools, and follows the philosophy of “exercise first, discipline second, affection last.” She encourages daily walks and consistent leadership. Her approach is positive reinforcement-based, using praise and occasional treats, and she avoids harsh methods. Ann also offers an Advanced/Fun Class for graduates, introducing Rally and Agility. Ann is inspired by her late dog Brody, a rescued shelter dog, and supported by her current training assistants, Tasha and Suki, both Chow Chows. She is an approved AKC CGC Evaluator since 2009, a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT), and a member of Therapy Dogs International. Her classes are designed to be fun, educational, and socially enriching for both dogs and owners.
