This level emphasizes crate training and positive association, with a 6ft distance, minimal distraction, and 5-minute durations. Board & Train is 3 weeks, Private Coaching is 4 weeks.
“The Extrovert” (LVL 2 OB.) expands on and proofs behaviors learned in LVL 1, focusing on intermediate on-leash obedience. Commands are practiced with a 20ft long line, and stays are extended to 10 minutes. This level includes 3 outings a week to public places for generalization. It involves moderate distraction and 10-minute durations. Board & Train is 4 weeks, Private Coaching is 8 weeks.
“The Master” (LVL 3 OB.) is for advanced off-leash obedience, aiming for total reliability and confidence in most day-to-day situations. Commands like sit-stay, down-stay, and place stay are expanded to out-of-sight stays, and recalls are generalized to outside environments without a leash. This level involves 20ft+ distance, maximum distraction, and 15 minutes+ durations. Board & Train is 6 weeks, Private Coaching is 12 weeks.
Additionally, Board & Train offers add-on services for specific dog types or issues, including “The Spicy Dog,” “The Doodle,” “The Working Dog,” “The Trick Dog,” “The Pibble,” “The Tiny Dog,” “The Potty Please,” and “Car Safety Conditioning.” Behavior modification programs cover aggression, anxiety, and other unwanted behaviors.

“Excellent trainer! She exceeded my expectations and dealt with me personally every day during my Lab Ace’s on-leash obedience course. I have been in the dog industry for my whole life because of my grandmother’s breeding of British Labs. I consider myself well-versed and knowledgeable about proper standards of breeding, and the overall care and well-being of dogs. I contacted Camille initially when Ace was a puppy and met with her for our free initial consultation. I was immediately impressed and decided that my Ace wouldn’t be going into any other hands. Because of personal circumstances, I wasn’t able to afford her right away but contacted her as soon as I was able to begin his training. She remembered us and was very thorough in her description of the program and what I could expect. Of course, as I’m sure most owners are, I was nervous to drop him off and leave him in someone else’s hands. But, as any professional, Camille was very understanding and patient. I felt calm before leaving that my baby would be well cared for and properly tended to. I followed up very frequently and Camille took every call and sent video and pictures every couple of days. Camille has been serving Acadiana pets since 2009 and transitioned her career to dog training and behaviorism in 2014 after training her own Belgian Tervuren, Force.

Accomplishments
Camille graduated from Starmark Academy for Professional Dog Trainers in November 2014, earning the title “Professional Dog Training and Behavioral Specialist.” Her studies included basic obedience, trick training, search and rescue, service dog work, agility training, and behavioral modification using desensitization and counter conditioning.
She was mentored by John Bonin of Bonin Boarding & Dog Training Center for several years. Camille is an Official AKC CGC Evaluator and a Registered AKC ATT (Temperament Test) Judge. She is certified by the LASPCA via the American Red Cross Association in pet first aid/CPR techniques. She is also an Official Partner of the Lafayette Animal Shelter & Care Center.
