Testimonials
When we got our new puppy we were over our heads with training. We worked with Elizabeth and Madi to start our puppy off on the right foot. She has become a very well socialized and mannered dog and has great leash manners. Day training is a great way to send the pup off with Madi and maintain their lessons. I absolutely recommend Calvert Dog Academy.

Calvert dog academy is amazing. Elizabeth and Madi worked with us for several months with our golden buddy and every session was so helpful. You can tell Elizabeth truly cares about your pet. We especially love how you are taught to teach your dog to want to do the right thing because they want to do it and not because they are afraid to do the wrong thing. After every session you get a “report card” reviewing the last lesson with things to work on until the next visit. Just amazing. We did weekly one on one training with Madi and Buddy only where Madi would come to your home and pick him up to take him out on a walk and train for an hour. After every day training you could tell a difference and every time he saw Madi walking towards the house he would wiggle with excitement so I know that she was giving him a lot of love as well as teaching. Highly recommended Calvert Dog Academy.

This wonderful group of trainers has helped us tremendously. Thanks to them I have so many tools to help me help my pups. Coco is a prime example of what time, patience and positive reinforcement can do. Coco came to us at 1.5 years old with 0 manners. She resource guarded, didn’t know even 1 command and her playing included fitting your whole arm in her mouth. She was so mouthy and had 0 bite inhibition. She now knows over 25 commands, has phenomenal recall, does not resource guard at all, and is no longer mouthy. From hours away from euthanasia to a well trained pup with so much love to give. Thank you guys.
