The Fast Track Program is a one-week board and train where dogs learn to heel, sit, climb, and break (release command) under distractions, aiming for full obedience. Owners receive three lessons to gain the knowledge and skills needed to continue the dog’s training, focusing on Timing, Motivation, Consistency, leadership, and state of mind.
The Off-Leash/Behavior Modification program is a two-week board and train designed for off-leash training or addressing behavioral issues. For off-leash training, it uses a low-level communication-style remote collar to teach commands like heel, sit, down, climb, recall (with distractions), calm on command, and off-leash heel and recall. For behavior modification, it addresses issues such as dog aggression, human aggression, separation anxiety, and a history of biting, with the program tailored to each individual dog.
Private Lessons are one-on-one sessions that teach dogs basic commands including sit, down, recall, no jumping, climb, and break, ensuring they can perform these commands with distractions. The lessons also aim to help owners better understand their dog and its needs.

About the Trainer
Camp K9 Training was founded in early 2017 by Andres, who is the sole owner and operator. Andres’s passion for dog training began in 2014 after successfully training his own rambunctious husky puppy, Zoey, who had behavioral issues like running away, food aggression, barking, and potty training problems. This personal success led him to pursue a career in dog training.
Andres attended The Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Training in 2016, where he learned basic and advanced training techniques for family pets, as well as specialized fields like police and military canines. He emphasizes consistency and persistence in his training approach, focusing on understanding each dog’s strengths and weaknesses to achieve the best results and connect with them.
Camp K9 Training offers various programs including a “Fast Track Program” (one-week board and train), “Private Lessons” (one-on-one), and “Off-Leash/Behavior Modification” (two-week board and train). The business also works with local shelters to train dogs with difficult behavioral issues, helping them get adopted. The core training principles applied are Timing, Motivation, and Consistency, which are taught to owners to ensure clear communication with their pets.
