Canine Academy offers three main program formats: Board & Train (intensive residential training lasting 8–90 days), Group Learning (small group classes for owners and dogs), and One-on-One Training (private coaching). All programs begin with a behavioral assessment to tailor the approach. Board & Train includes daily 1:1 training, while group and private lessons involve owner participation. Training focuses on basic obedience (sit, down, stay, recall, loose-leash walking), distraction proofing, and behavior modification. Graduates receive 90 days of follow-up support and free weekly group classes for life. Programs are designed to achieve off-leash control and consistent behavior in high-distraction environments.

Testimonials
They’re the best of the best! We had them trained and boarded here and they give exceptional care and training. We were gone on a 2 week trip and everyday we were not only sent updates, but photos as well, which made the separation a little easier to cope with! Super accommodating and just all around, you can tell they love what they do and genuinely care about doggos. My girl Golden won’t tolerate anyone else… even for daycare. They’re always so excited to come here and always smiling. One of their happy places! Which speaks volumes, especially since my male Golden Retriever has a bit of anxiety. He’s come such a long way though after his training… they really worked on confidence with him and now he’s our big protector!

We took our 2-year-old vizsla, Bru, to Canine Academy for a 10-day behavior management board & train course with our trainer, Alex. Our dog has a lot of anxiety and resource guarding issues, and this was our last shot and trying to manage this. Alex did an amazing job with Bru and he is a different dog since coming home. Ecollar training has helped Bru to be confident, consistently follow commands and has allowed us to give him so much more freedom. We can trust him off leash in our yard and on hikes through our woods and only rarely have to stim him with the collar if he doesn’t listen. The ecollar training has given us a way to safely call of Bru on the rare occasion that he does resource guarding anymore, and he will stay in a place command indefinitely even in public. Our only regret is that we didn’t send him to board & train sooner. Thank you so much everything, Alex and Canine Academy!
We have also boarded Bru overnight since his training and their care team is incredible, detail-oriented, and we love the updates! They truly care for our pup, and his room there is very spacious and clean.

I cannot recommend Canine academy enough!! We have an 8 month old golden doodle named Kobe who needed some serious help when it came to leash manners and basic obedience. When I say our dog was a puller on leash, I mean he was a PULLER. We had tried everything with him and I thought for sure he would never walk well on leash. We called up canine academy and got Kobe enrolled into their board and train program with our trainer Kayla.
Kayla is AMAZING!!!! She has so much patience and knowledge on dogs it’s truly incredible. Kayla worked with Kobe for 8 days and worked her magic.
Kobe has been home with us for about a week now and his transformation is incredible. We work with him everyday and walk him twice a day to keep up with his training! You MUST continue this training program at home with your fur baby if you want your pup to be the best they can be! Our biggest worry was getting Kobe to walk well on leash and now I can say I have a dog that doesn’t make walk time stressful! During our walks I have had people who have asked how we got Kobe to behave so well on leash! I never thought we would ever get asked that question and it makes me so happy.
