Dog Training Methodology
Methods:
- ✓ Positive Reinforcement Only
Canine Command provides personalized, in-home training sessions tailored to each dog’s breed, age, temperament, and needs. Training covers problem-solving, behavior modification, basic and advanced commands, good manners inside and outside the house, and leadership training for owners. They prepare dogs for the AKC Canine Good Citizen test and offer canine education, including a detailed “training Bible” with in-depth discussions on training exercises, breed characteristics, owner leadership, canine communication, and nutrition. The training approach involves modifying the home environment, using positive reinforcement conditioning, and, if needed, incorporating natural holistic medications to reinforce good behaviors and extinguish bad ones.
Pricing & Policies
Pricing Summary

Testimonials
“I can’t believe the difference in my dogs. A workman came to the door and into the house-I said QUIET-and they both stopped and sat down. Farley didn’t bother the workman at all! He was amazed since he had been here before and Farley was very aggressive. Thank you. You have made our life with Farley so much better-and he is happier dog. The tools you have given me are being carried over to walking manners and I am just thrilled with their progress. I can’t thank you enough for all you have already done for us. With many thanks!”
– Carolyn Nielsen
“Joe came in already having done research on my dog’s breed and problem behaviors based on the information I provided. He gave excellent instruction, answered every question I had and provided me with packets of helpful information. He came to my level and really understood the difficulty of training a dog that already has ingrained problem behaviors. He provided tools and training instruction that I continue to use daily with my dog Sparky. If you have a dog that is highly anxious, attached, and reactive I highly recommend reaching out to Joe. He has helped me develop a better relationship with Sparky and has fully transformed how I interact with dogs in general.”
– Marin Gross
“In less than an hour Joe had our dog turned into an obedient, talented dog. He even trained the dog’s owners on how not to mess it all up! It made a WORLD of difference and was money well spent.”
– Chris Griffith
