Training is structured with accomplishments and milestones based on desired end results, addressing individual issues after foundational canine needs are met.

Board & Train programs include Puppy Pre-School, Advanced Skills, Behavior Modification, and Custom Board & Train options.

Private Lessons are one-on-one, lasting an hour, and can be held at public parks, a mutual location, or in the client’s home (within driving distance). These lessons provide owners with the knowledge to train their dogs, with results depending on owner consistency.

Group Lessons teach effective communication and important life skills, proofing them for reliability in real-world scenarios. They cover traditional on-leash obedience commands like sit, down, place, come, and heel, and focus on teaching owners how to encourage their dog’s natural guidance following.

The Therapy Dog Development program is an 8-lesson course designed to prepare dogs and their owners for therapy dog testing and certification.

Policies

For a safe environment, all pets must be current on rabies vaccinations and wait at least 48 hours after any vaccination before checking in, with proof of rabies vaccination paperwork required. Puppies and kittens between 8 weeks and 4 months of age (3 months in Indiana) may receive salon services without vaccinations. Specific vaccination requirements apply in New York City (6-month Bordetella and DHPP with Adenovirus) and Iowa (DPP with Adenovirus). In Connecticut, proof of a town license is required. All pets must be in good health for grooming services.
