Testimonials

Excellent facility! They truly know each and every dog so well, and my guy loves going to daycare. The boarding is great as it is a home boarding program, which can be difficult to find. Would highly recommend.
-Nicole

Nicole, Krystal and their whole team are truly some of the best. Caring, knowledgeable, and loving programs that are geared towards success and have the results to back it up. If you want the best version of your pup I highly suggest going here for all the services offered.
-Client

Highly recommend for services for reactive dogs. My dog, Harvey, is both human and dog reactive and we needed a new boarding facility. Harvey attended the K9 Day Camp program to get to know the staff before attempting overnight boarding. The entire staff took their time with Harvey, going at his pace and earning his trust. Mikayla, Nicole, Lauren and Joe are now 4 of Harvey’s newest favorite people! I’m so impressed by their professionalism and ability to earn my reactive dog’s trust, which is not an easy thing to do! Harvey has had success boarding with Nicole and I feel comfortable with him in her care. You can definitely trust your reactive dogs to be safe and cared for with Canine Odyssey

About the Trainer

Canine Odyssey is a dog training and pet care business based in North Chelmsford, MA, offering tailored training solutions for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. They emphasize a balanced, individualized approach to training, combining structure and consistency to create a healthy, balanced lifestyle for dogs and their owners. Services include private lessons, in-home training, K9 Day Camp (group day training), Board & Train programs, structured daycare, and home boarding. Their Board & Train program places dogs in the head trainer’s home for 3–5 weeks with intensive, customized training including obedience, behavior modification, and environmental exposure. They also offer the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) preparation program. Training is reinforced through homework and follow-up sessions to ensure long-term success. Their daycare and boarding services are designed for reactive, anxious, or high-energy dogs, with a focus on trust-building and safety.

They do not discriminate by breed and require a consultation and two daycare evaluations before enrollment in daycare. Communication is primarily via email, with dedicated channels for general inquiries and progress updates. They offer limited availability for training and boarding programs, with new client intake paused for the remainder of 2024 except for daycare.

The business also operates The Quest Shop, offering pet supplies, and a Loyal Companion Program for ongoing client support.

Their team includes experienced trainers like Nicole, Krystal, Mikayla, Lauren, and Joe, who are noted for working successfully with reactive and fearful dogs.

They are not currently accepting new boarding or training clients for the rest of 2024, but existing clients may continue services.

They are affiliated with the American Kennel Club (AKC) for CGC certification.

They do not offer grooming, walking, or pet sitting as standalone services, but provide pet boarding and daycare as part of their core offerings.

Accomplishments

Offers American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification preparation. Trainers have successfully worked with reactive, fearful, and aggressive dogs, earning client trust and repeat business. Staff are recognized for their ability to build trust with challenging dogs.
